Thank you so much for putting into words the words and emotions of my heart!!! I lost my husband of 26 years very suddenly in Sept of ’09. The following August I was at Women of Faith in Dallas with one of my daughters who was still having an extremely difficult time with her Daddy’s loss and Natalie Grant sang this song that Friday night. I had never heard the song until that moment and all I can say is that as we held each other and cried, even in the midst of thousands of ladies in that place God ministered to she & I through that song…..He poured Himself into us that evening. I absolutely love this song and have it on a cd that I listen to every day….God has brought me through the darkest days of my life, has given me new purpose and joy and I thank you so much for your compassion in this song!

Wow. So you are the one who wrote this song. Well, I just want to say that I am the Clinical Director of a treatment center and I have worked with hundreds and probably thousands of suffering individuals in my work. One of my specialties is grief and loss and I have used your song with many people over time. We have even used it in group therapy to help people process loss and strengthen faith. I am so grateful for this song and I have many stories of how it has been used to dramatically touch people’s lives, including my own. Thank you for being the vessel for this.

Christa. I know I’ve told you this before, but now, 9 months after Lana went to be with Jesus- I can’t help but thank you again. The conversations she and I had because of this song…life-changing. The ability you had to put what she couldn’t express to me in her own words, I’ll never thank you enough for. Such a special, special time. Thank you for having the courage to write about this side of a relationship with Jesus, for those who have experienced it, I believe it’s the sweetest side. I think of you often, and am excited for your success. Thank you for what you’ve given us!
